Uninstall Browsing Tools

We’re sorry to see you go, but we understand that preferences change. If you’ve decided to uninstall Browsing Tools from your Google Chrome browser, we’re here to help you through the process.

Uninstalling from Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome: Launch your Google Chrome browser if it’s not already open.

  2. Access Extensions: In the top-right corner of the browser, click on the three vertical dots to open the Chrome menu. From the dropdown menu, hover over “More tools,” and then select “Extensions.”

  3. Locate Browsing Tools: You will see a list of installed extensions. Scroll down or search for “Browsing Tools.”

  4. Remove Extension: To the right of the “Browsing Tools” listing, click on the “Remove” button. A confirmation dialog will appear.

  5. Confirm Uninstallation: In the confirmation dialog, click “Remove” to confirm the uninstallation of Browsing Tools.

  6. Restart Chrome: After the extension is removed, you may need to restart your browser for the changes to take effect.

Uninstalling from FireFox

  1. Open Firefox: Launch your Firefox browser if it’s not already open.
  2. Access Add-ons: Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner to open the Firefox menu. From the dropdown menu, select “Add-ons.”
  3. Manage Extensions: In the left sidebar, choose “Extensions.” You’ll see a list of installed extensions. Scroll through or use the search bar to find “Browsing Tools.”
  4. Remove Extension: Next to the “Browsing Tools” entry, click on the “Remove” button. A confirmation message will pop up.
  5. Confirm Removal: In the confirmation message, click “Remove” to confirm the uninstallation of Browsing Tools.
  6. Restart Firefox: Once the extension is removed, you might need to restart your browser to apply the changes.

Uninstalling from Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge: Launch your Microsoft Edge browser.

  2. Access Extensions: Click on the three horizontal dots in the upper-right corner to open the Edge menu. From the menu, select “Extensions.”

  3. Manage Extensions: On the Extensions page, you’ll find a list of your installed extensions. Scroll down or use the search box to locate “Browsing Tools.”

  4. Remove Extension: Locate the “Browsing Tools” entry and click on the gear icon or settings button associated with it. Then, select “Remove” from the options.

  5. Confirm Uninstallation: A confirmation prompt will appear. Click “Remove” to confirm the uninstallation of Browsing Tools.

  6. Restart Edge: After removing the extension, it’s recommended to restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.
